Airforestry secures 31 MSEK

(Uppsala, develops high-capacity drones for forestry): Has secured 31 MSEK in a grant from Energimyndigheten. Early investors in AirForestry includes members Jane Walerud, Alfred Ruth, and Fredrik Jung Abbou. Annually, 300,000 hectares of forest, equal to about 600,000 football fields, are thinned using heavy machinery that damages the forest floor. AirForestry addresses this issue with their eco-friendlier drones, capable of lifting 200 kilograms, thereby reducing environmental impact and preserving forest health.
